Subscriptions & billing
How do I restore a purchase?
Use Restore purchases on the paywall, or open Recall Rex Settings → Your subscription → Restore purchases. Make sure your iPhone is using the Apple Account that made the purchase and has an internet connection.
Restoring checks an existing subscription; it does not create a new purchase. If access is still missing, use Check access again when shown, or contact us.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Recall Rex. Choose a different available plan or Cancel Subscription. You can also use Manage subscription inside Recall Rex.
Deleting the app or emailing us does not cancel an Apple subscription. Canceling stops future renewal; access generally continues until the paid period ends. Apple’s cancellation instructions.
How do refunds work?
Apple handles payments and refund requests for App Store purchases. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Eligibility and decisions are handled by Apple, subject to applicable consumer rights. Apple’s refund instructions.
What do the plans include?
Both plans provide the same app access: supported recall browsing, product details and official-source links, saved recalls, and personal touches. Available plans, renewal periods, and local prices appear in the app before you subscribe.
Both plans renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. There is no trial currently planned.
Using Recall Rex
How do I refresh the recalls?
Open a recall tab and pull down on the list to refresh. If a source cannot be reached, the app may keep previously loaded results and show a message. Reconnect and try again; cached information can be out of date.
Can I save a recall?
Use the bookmark button on a recall, or swipe left on its card to save it. Find it again in the Saved tab. To remove it, use the bookmark button again or Remove from Saved.
Saved recalls are kept on that device; Recall Rex does not provide account-based sync.
Can I change my name, Rex’s name, or my pets?
Open Settings → Personal touches to edit your preferred name, Rex’s name, your pets’ names, and pet selections. Optional name fields can be cleared. These touches personalize the app without hiding recalls from other tabs.
Why is a picture, code, or map missing?
Notices vary in the information they provide. Images, product codes, and distribution areas appear when available from the supported official source. A loading or extraction problem can also leave information unavailable. Retry when offered, then open the official notice for the original details.
Does the app send notifications?
No. This release does not send recall notifications or check your household’s products automatically. Open the app and refresh to check for updates.
Your information
There is no Recall Rex account to delete. You can clear optional names and pet selections in Settings and remove saved recalls individually. Deleting the app removes its local app data from that device; restoring a device backup may restore it.
For access, correction, or deletion requests involving support correspondence or subscription-related information we handle, email support@recallrex.app. We may need limited information to verify and locate your records. Apple manages its own purchase records separately.
Deleting data does not cancel a subscription. Read the full privacy policy.

For product-specific guidance, contact the manufacturer or agency listed in the official recall notice and follow its instructions. Recall Rex support cannot determine whether a product is safe, offer medical advice, or arrange a product recall refund.
If you notice incorrect or missing information in the app, email the official notice link and the detail that looks wrong so we can investigate.
